Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Transportation Center

The Shanghai Hongqiao Airport is located 13km western of the inner city. Due to a great demand of domestic flights within China the airport had to expand its capicity. The new Terminal 2 was inaugurated after a three year building period. The new terminal stretches over 1,000 metres and increases the capacity to 30 million passengers each year. Lindner fitted 21,000m² of metal ceilings to the 'Transportation Center' of the Terminal 2.
